Mision
- To organize and develop educational, research, and community service activities, as well as to develop sustainable partnerships and cooperation by prioritizing the sustainable use of local plants and natural resources.
- To implement good, transparent, accountable, responsible, and fair higher education management, especially for the study program (good study program governance).
Goals
The objective is to develop graduates holding a Bachelor of Agriculture degree who possess profound scientific competence and technical expertise in agrotechnology. These graduates will be capable of articulating the significance of agroecotechnological processes and their scientific outcomes, applying this understanding to enhance the practices of agricultural communities, thereby contributing beneficially to human livelihoods and quality of life. This culminates in forming the distinct graduate profile of the Agrotechnology Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro —one that is aligned with societal demands and dedicated to the advancement of science.
Specifically, the Objectives of the Undergraduate (S1) Agroecotechnology Study Program of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences are:
- To produce graduates as Bachelors of Agriculture (Agroecotechnology) who are capable of implementing and developing the science of agroecotechnology for the purposes of education, research, and community service.
- To produce graduates as Bachelors of Agriculture (Agroecotechnology) who are capable of establishing sustainable cooperation with various relevant stakeholders for the construction and development of the agroecotechnology sector.
- To produce graduates who are experts in the agricultural (agroecotechnology) sector to improve the quality of human resources; capable of researching and evaluating various agricultural (agroecotechnology) problems, and able to leverage this knowledge for entrepreneurial activities and the creation of employment opportunities in the agricultural field.
- To produce graduates as Bachelors of Agriculture (Agroecotechnology) who possess leadership, managerial, and environmental adaptation skills, as well as a creative, innovative, and responsive spirit in designing, planning, and evaluating crop production systems in accordance with the principles of sustainable agriculture.
- To deliver educational services and administration for the undergraduate agricultural (agroecotechnology) program that are effective, transparent, accountable, responsible, and equitable (good study program governance).
